ivypoint LLC (d/b/a ivypoint Tutors) was founded in the summer of 2008 as a means to connect talented current undergraduate students from our nation’s Ivy League and top tier universities with high school students around the world. Originally focused on subject tutoring services in the Washington, D.C. area, ivypoint Tutors soon grew to offering tutoring online to customers nationwide. As the expertise of our staff expanded, ivypoint Tutors chose to shift directions in order to more fully serve our students and their families. ivypoint Tutors was dissolved and a new company, IVYPOINTLLC (d/b/a ivypoint Prep) was formed with a focus on college preparatory services in addition to tutoring.

Chief Executive Officer

Bahar J. Dave

As a former student at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service Class of 2011, Bahar Dave studied International Politics with a concentration in Foreign Policy Processes. She served on the admissions committee of Georgetown University in 2011.

Bahar Dave has devoted much of her time working at Locke Lord Strategies, the lobbyist division of the acclaimed law firm, Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell in Washington, DC. Her experience includes writing reports on House and Senate Committee hearings on Capitol Hill, drafting editorials for the Washington Post and the New York Times, and organizing events for international Ambassadors, Heads of State and Congressional members In the past, Bahar dedicated her time to her work as a Research Assistant, co-authoring a research dissertation concerning human rights violations and financial markets. She has also served on the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, School of Foreign Service Alumni Program and Georgetown Undergraduate Admissions Committee. Previously, Bahar worked at the powerhouse lobbying firm Holland & Knight. Bahar joined Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Evans, Todd and Figel, LLP in the summer of 2011.

Bahar enjoys travel, volunteer work, and competitive/ traditional Indian dance.

Aditya C. Sahajwalla

Aditya is a proud member of Georgetown's McDonough School of Business Class of 2011, double majoring in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Theology. Before attending Georgetown University, Aditya graduated with honors from Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland.

Aditya has always had a passion for business, entrepreneurship, and social service. From countless lemonade stands, comic book sales, and other small ventures leading up to the founding of a marketing & sales organization for satellite television systems aimed at ethnic communities as well as an online clothing company focused on the South Asian population, Aditya today is Chairman and Founder of ivypoint LLC. Aditya also serves as the Vice President of Communications and Founding Member for the Georgetown Entrepreneurial Organization, actively invests, maintains a blog on entrepreneurship, investing, and mens' style, DJs (Hip Hop, Bhangra, and House/Techno genres) and dances for the annual Rangila show.

Aditya has previously worked for or interned with Credit Suisse, Hilltop Consultants, the StreetBank, GetWellNetwork, Inc., 2 Pi Solutions, Financial Advantage Associates, and the Food and Drug Administration. Aditya also devotes time to volunteering with his local Sai Center, practicing the tabla (an percussion instrument from northern India), playing tennis, and enjoys music and German automobiles.
